We need to put a Cap on how many Residential Homes can be owned by Corporations. One of the largest offenders controls a staggering 59,000 residential homes as of December 2023 (if my research is accurate). We cannot continue to allow these large corporations to corner the market. Adding a Cap will help give power back to local landlords, thereby creating more competition and in turn lowering the cost of rent. I propose a cap of 1,000 homes but I want to hear from you.
