Horrible communist policy. The economic system runs on perpetual debt. This debt is printed into existence by the Federal Reserve, then lent out with interest to banks, banks lend to corporations with interest, corporations sell to us.
Grocery stores are not the evil greedy villains people want to make them out to be. The money they borrowed in order to get you your product has to be repaid with interest. If you want to get prices under control, advocate for ending the Fed and going back to the Gold Standard.
P.S Research rent control laws and see how those laws destroy whole communities. People won’t invest if they can’t make a profit.
