Canadians

Dear President Trump,

I wanted to take a moment to express how truly happy we are to see you in office, and how much some, Canadians, support you and your leadership. My family and I have been backing you since 2016 and have great admiration for the work you’ve done for the United States. We love America and have made it a special part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve spent many vacations in the US, including Christmas at our getaway. We’ve also had the privilege of staying at Trump Towers in Fort Lauderdale. These experiences have only deepened our respect for the country you lead and the incredible opportunities it offers.

I personally come from a proud family of immigrants. I am a third-generation Canadian, with my grandparents having come from Italy with only five dollars to their name. They worked tirelessly to build a life, and through hard work and determination, they eventually created a net worth over a million dollars. Their journey has inspired me to continue that legacy of dedication and perseverance.

We are a young conservative couple who just wants to work hard, build a life, and provide a better future for our family. But we are increasingly concerned about the direction Canada is heading. The liberal policies and leadership have made it more difficult to feel safe or optimistic about the future. It is becoming harder to live in this environment, and we fear for the future of our children. Like my grandparents, we are hardworking, and all we want is a chance to provide a safe, prosperous life for our families in an environment that values hard work, safety, and opportunity under an amazing leadership.

What we find unfair, however, is that people who come to the United States seeking benefits seem to have an easier path to entry than hardworking Canadians like us, who have spent our lives contributing to society and working for a better future. We are not asking for handouts or assistance, but rather the opportunity to enter the U.S. and contribute in the same way we have here in Canada. It’s disheartening to see that people who come seeking benefits often have an easier time entering, while good, hardworking people like us are left with little to no option.

We are also aware of the challenges you face with the leadership in Canada, and we know that our current Prime Minister is not the right fit for the job. To be honest, many of us believe he is leading our country into the ground. While we understand that you have to push back against him, it’s important to note that millions of Canadians support you and feel as though we’re the ones suffering here, not the politicians. We, the hardworking Canadians, are the ones facing the consequences of these misguided policies, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to endure.

We also want to express our strong support for your efforts to address illegal immigration. Once the dangerous illegal immigrants are removed and the situation is under control, we would love the opportunity to join the United States when you guys feel ready. We are not seeking handouts or government assistance. We just want to contribute to society, work hard, and build a safe and secure life for ourselves and future generations.

We understand that your primary focus is on US citizens, and we wholeheartedly support your efforts in strengthening America. They are the most important people that require assistance and we are proud to see our fellow North Americans benefiting from your leadership. Once immigration is addressed, we kindly ask if you could consider making it easier for hardworking Canadians like us to come and live in the United States.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We continue to support you and your vision for a strong and prosperous future. We love what you stand for, and we are grateful for the leadership you’ve shown

Unfortunately, US immigration policy must be standardized for all nations. Mexicans, Canadians, Chinese, or Russian; all should go through the same immigration process.
