BLOAT - Bill to Lessen Overhead and Taxes

The United States of America has created more than one Federal Agency for every single year of our existence as a nation.

The U.S. government shall hire an independent (non-government) auditor that publicizes quarterly findings. All agencies and their responsibilities and funding are to be audited. If redundant responsibilities are found, either eliminate one (or more) or consolidate agencies to eliminate redundancies.

Creation of any new agencies is to be voted on as a single line item bill that can have rigorous debate for validity in public. (Televised on CSPAN) Agencies shall not be created behind closed doors by committees with no public scrutiny.

Number of Federal agencies shall not exceed 100.
