We need an easier path to Immigration. Our citizenship test most natural born Americans couldn’t pass it. If our school systems don’t teach our kids what it means to be an American, how can we expect someone from another country to get it. They should be able to apply for a work Visa and have to be on that for so many years showing the ability to be a hard working, contributing citizen who pays their fair share of taxes and are not on ANY Government assistance. Maybe a 5 year program. Once they show they are a contributor, then grant them automatic citizenship with a social security number and another 5 year conditional provision that they will not use welfare or government assistance or risk losing it. If they are in trouble, we have shelters, churches and help programs that are not tax payers $$ that can help them get back on their feet. NO MORE HAND OUTS!
