I propose food stamps for seniors. People on a fixed income can’t get ahead. Everytime there is a cost of living increase for Social Security the premium goes up for Medicare. In the 10 years that I have been on Medicare and Social Security the premium has almost doubled. If seniors could just get some food credit it would help tremendously. I propose $25 of food stamps for every $500 of Social Security benefits. It would only be $50 to $100 a month. But even this small amount would help seniors.

thinking seniors who are solely living on their social security getting under 2000 a month take home should get 100 a week for food, and an automatic 200 electric credit every month. i know plenty who struggle with home care, scrips, making rent. i am seeing more and more senior homeless women. see my policy national transfer of wealth.
