We should ban all flags except the American flag in all US embassies and official US government buildings overseas. For too long we have had activists in our state department and at our overseas military and government installations who would fly a flag or put up a sign to push a political agenda. This must stop. It is an insult to the foreign countries who are hosting us. Many of these countries ban the agendas represented by these flags. It is also not approved by the people of the US. We don’t want our state department or military etc. pushing any particular agenda that is not approved by the people of this country. It should be a federal crime to fly such a flag in these circumstances and those who do should face jail time!

Texas flag too - Texas has that right because of being a republic.
I think that outside the boundaries of the US, it should be the US flag only. Flying a state flag in a foreign embassy is not insulting, but it could be confusing to the host country. A state like Texas has no particular representation to a foreign government.
