Ban spraying commercial pesticides/Herbicides/weed killers in neighborhoods where they’re small children pets, and people that live so close together and in public parks . There are many studies out there that say these chemicals are causing cancers and diseases such as Parkinson’s And lymphoma these chemical should only be sprayed in areas were homes are at least 5 acres apart or farther . Ban in all states especially Louisville, Kentucky
Good one! Its probably a local govt level issue but should certainly be added to the forum, I think, to spur further brainstorming. Given the current climate of chemical spraying of plane-dispensed heavy metals, the Department of Defense’s deadly COVID ‘vaccine invention’, and industrial waste fluoride in our water systems, the American People don’t know WHAT is coming out of those spraying trucks that routinely bathe our communities.
Thus, out of an abundance of caution and justified community distrust, the practice should be stopped. Public Trust in government-dispersed chemicals “went out the window” years ago! It is not govts place to spray for bugs – totally retarded. (Personally, I don’t think that they are targeting only bugs, but I won’t go there.) I would rather have a cloud of mosquitos instead of even a single molecule of a dispersed chemical agent coming from a government institution. Let people spray for their own bugs, and put local govts back to doing the things that they were initially created to do.
Awesome,we have to stop the rain of poison in our communities
BAN THIS POISON 100%!
All living and growing must be ORGANIC, farming can be done permaculture, regenerative producing healthy produce and livestock to feed billions in numerous small farming operations, decentralized but with dynamic international trade/commerce also happening.
NURTURING AND FEEDING THE WORLD FIRST, ENOUGH PROFIT TO THRIVE EQUALLY IMPORTANT/ RESTRAIN THE GREED. GREED IS THE EVIL DESTROYER OF EVERYTHING GOOD.
I would also like to add that in low lying states like Florida, we have new species of many insects and fungi. The cost and knowledge base to balance and control these occurrences is highly expensive and in many cases impossible without using some sort of commercial sprays. However; cases in which overspray causes harm; there needs to be a lawful way of recovery?
If you are a grower who is sharing and selling to the public it should be a must to grow organic. However; Organic farming is a highly knowledge base and expense that not common private land owners can meet to this degree. Thank You
Makes sense…and since this sort of policy would be handled probably at the state/local levels, the climate and biological conditions of that specific area would be taken into account. (ie: Maine <> Florida). The is no single shoe size to fit all, in this case.
I find a need to interject a key phrase change to Kay Anderson Kay, to read; ban commercial spraying by aircraft over any privately owned rural properties. The ownership of land includes ownership of airspace and terafirmaa. This is a trespass and no local government should have the right to poison any grounds over animals or gardens. It has been occurring more in rural areas without notice or consent to perfectly healthy farms.
On the other hand, Neighbors have many reasons for the need of herbicides such as along fence lines when a neighbor is irresponsible for keeping their overgrowth from encroachment that cause destruction to neighbors properties or health such as infestation of biting insects that can cause death in some incidents in the case of allergy.
There are many ways of controlling weeds other then poison chemicals such as using lawnmowers/Weed eaters. As for stinging insects such as bees, we need them for pollination. I do support what you stated about the airplane spays . They should be stopped as well. Ban all those poisonous chemicals that are affecting our health, our children’s health and our pets health by causing cancers and other diseases. Our health and our pets health Is much more important then controlling weeds that could simply be cut down with the lawnmower or pulled by hands.
