Ban shadow monitoring on personal devices

I think it is time to ban shadow monitoring technology on our personal devices. Not only is this an infringement of our personal privacy, especially for those of us who do not wish to be monitored, but it also invades the privacy of others around us. Think about it, how many times have you had a conversation with someone and suddenly all your social media is catering to that conversation? It is time to hold those who create our technology accountable and protect ourselves. We are not a product, we are people, and we deserve to feel safe using our devices so that our data can’t be sold.
