Ban political solicitations

We should create a law that bans all forms of political solicitation, including but not limited to text messages, phone calls, emails, and direct mail to American voters.

These unsolicited communications have become a significant nuisance for the American people, contributing to frustration and annoyance during election seasons. They also waste valuable resources, including time, money, and paper for mailings, which could be better spent on meaningful community initiatives.

If politicians genuinely want votes, they can engage with voters through social media platforms and television advertisements, which better align with modern communication and technology.

Direct outreach is not only unwelcome but also unnecessary in a world where voters can easily access information about candidates and their platforms online.

By implementing such a ban, we would protect citizens from constant interruptions and ensure a more respectful political discourse that prioritizes the voters’ preferences.
