No special interest groups, lobbyists, mega donors, etc - politicians work for the people!
Politicians should only get income from their salaries! This will ensure that the politicians work for the people of the United States of America and only the people of the United States of America. It’s important to ensure an integral democracy. This is especially important now seeing as politicians potentially can be infiltrated / manipulated / bribed / blackmailed!
This will also ensure that politicians put America first (only politicians with good intentions with it make it far because they won’t be propped up by other nations) We also should crack down on espionage, which I think this would help with.
No outside money in politics will inevitably make the world a better place
