It’s become way too complicated trying to figure out which light bulbs contain mercury and which ones do not. Those that contain mercury must be considered hazardous waste and cannot be thrown out with regular trash. If we can make bulbs without mercury why do we need any that have it?
This is another good example of so called “green” products that include toxic or hazardous substances and create hazardous waste.
