You will get more votes on the main item as it is a real issue that many will support . Adding on the weed and drugs on the end is a sly way to get a two for one.
I agree completely with banning gender transition as it’s common sense children are unable to make a definitive decision when their brains are not mature and most of this is a parent with mental issues forcing it on them . But as others have said I can’t add my vote as I do not agree with your last sentence.

First make an effort to help the individual find comfort in their own skin. Second, transitioning should not be legal during the developmental stage of puberty. Third, ignore the omnibus inclusion of legalizing psychedelic drugs in this policy proposal.

Though i agree it is over reach of federal government. We need to stick to the constitution. The authority for this does not belong with federal government in the constitution so the 10th ammendment applies here.

In the article they reference a published rationale in the Journal of the Danish Medical Association by the very clinicians responsible for assessing the youth and approving them for gender transitions that soberly discusses the shift.
- Also subpoena research results from Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy who “deliberately withheld publication of a $10 million taxpayer-funded study on the effect of puberty blockers on American children — after finding no evidence that they improve patients’ mental health.”
-Question why she is refusing to follow evidence based medicine and the scientific process by refusing to publish these results.
-Question why she is refusing to allow the results to be added to the conversation TO THE BENEFIT of the youth and future youth.

This would be a good part of a Family Rights Bill; minors have a Right to grow up with the immutable characteristics with which they came into being. No abusive parent, sick doctor or perverted bureaucrat has a right to mutilate them.

We should also make it illegal for parents to force transitioning on their children. While making sure the schools arent educating children on it, until they are at least over the age of starting puberty. A child of eight years old should not know what being transgender is, when they are still learning their own natural gender.

Completely agree with the first part of this. Children to not have the mental capacity to understand that this will affect them for the rest of their lives. To them, it’s just like playing pretend. But come on, we can all play pretend without any major surgeries. You can’t smoke until you’re 21 but completely changing your gender and possibly mutilating your body is allowed? No.
As for the second part of this, I feel like you should have made this into its own proposal, as it has nothing to do with the first part.

I agree, the prefrontal cortex of our brains isn’t fully developed until our mid 20’s! That’s why we are impulsive in our decisions at younger ages.
Car rental companies seem to be the only ones who got it right LOL!

Should be 25 as this is the average age that frontal lobes are fully developed. Other health risks like alcohol and tobacco should also be 25. As a currently 25 year old it makes me sick to see how many of my peers have made irreversible health decisions before they could properly perceive the consequences.

I completely agree, minors should not be allowed to change their gender. I would say illegal till age 21 at least.
