Ban Fluoride and Clean Our Water

I support the removal of fluoride from drinking water. I dispute that it is a proven neurotoxin. It improves resistance to dental caries, but ingestion is a poor vehicle with which to deliver fluoride to the tooth enamel. Total dose in the body does matter, because excess fluoride is deleterious to enamel structure, especially during ages 5-9 when the secondary teeth are undergoing pre-eruptive maturation. Adults have a much higher tolerance for fluoride than do children, especially ages 5-9. Recently we have seen the neurotoxin claim in the news, that children with high fluoride intake lose as much as 7 points of IQ. This is a very difficult claim to support. Researchers cannot even decide how much of IQ is heritable; estimates range from 40% to 80%. Peer environment also matters; a kid’s peers either challenge them to work harder via competition, or they do not. Any study that does not control for parents’ IQs and the home/school environment will not be able to tease out the much more minor effect of fluoride in drinking water.

All that said, I support the removal of fluoride from drinking water, for the reason of freedom to make personal choice if no other.

I checked the chemical structure of warfarin (rat poison). There is no fluoride in it.

Please ban Flouride. My daughter has been tested and found to be the cause of her regular headaches. We try to make sure its nothing we intentionally are buying the only source is the tap water we bath in and its still affecting her health and well being. Its taken alot of supplementation to get it removed out of her system so we can lessen the daily headaches. Please ban this toxin

Agree!

It’s deeply troubling to hear how widespread PFAS contamination has become and the toll it’s taking on families, especially children. I completely understand your concern, as we’re facing a similar crisis in Comstock Park, Michigan. We’ve initiated a Class action lawsuit against Plainfield Township to address the dangerous levels of PFAS and other harmful chemicals in our water. Like you, many of us believe this contamination is responsible for a rise in rare and severe health conditions affecting children and adults alike.

These “forever chemicals” don’t just impact one community they’re a nationwide issue, but clean water should be prioritized in every area. PFAS exposure has been linked to immune system issues, cancer, and other severe health conditions, and it’s heartbreaking to see children suffering because of something as essential as water. People HAVE DIED from these chemicals!

We stand with you in this fight for accountability and action. By banding together across states, we’re sending a powerful message to prioritize health, transparency, and justice in dealing with water contamination. We need more people to send these bills threw

Along with the other chemicals.

Fluoride in toothpaste/mouthwash is essential to the stop of tooth decay. It creates an important protective barrier against decay. I am a DA and the difference between people that regularly use Fluoride products vs not is huge. Yes, other factors such as genetics, medications, and health issues make a difference in the health of our teeth, but we have seen the dental health in those individuals who choose not to use Fluoride decrease by at least 70%.

Fluoride is naturally occuring in some water sources. This is how we were able to intially notice the beneficial dental effects. So Fluoride in water can be attributed in some areas or situations to mother nature! Plenty of things are toxic or neurotoxic that exist in us or around us. Apples have a deadly toxin in them, if we are being technical. Heck we all have a bit of naturally occuring formaldyhyde in our bodies! Even though its used in embalming! Here is some information on the history of fluoride in water.

I would love to see this. I saw a fascinating video about the water filtration in Paris, and it is incredibly safe, and high quality. I’d love to stop being poisoned by my water district.

Fluoride is also a key ingredient in most toothpaste and mouthwash, which we are told not to swallow.

I don’t want it in my drinking water.

I would like to believe that American dentists might get on board with this. It could make a big difference but it seems so ingrained that it might take a long time.

Thank you for your articulate presentation! We must change this policy ASAP.

Working on it Todd. Electrolysis removes pharmaceuticals. We tested the removal a few years ago.

I heard RFK say it was coming out of all water on Jan. 20th. I’ve been super stoked, double check me though…my memory could be flawed.

Fluoride has been proven to lower IQ scores.
Fluoride calcifies your Pineal Gland.
Fluoride should also be removed from Toothpaste.

Yes absolutely! Ban fluoride in drinking water and in toothpaste. Also been atrazine from drinking water. Let’s make our water supply healthy again.

Replace fluoride in toothpaste with hydroxyapatite which is the minerals in which your tooth is actually made from.

How does fluoride induce calcium deposition in the pineal gland?

I have no objection to you buying unfluoridated toothpaste, but prefer mine fluoridated. Why do you feel you have the right to deny me what I think will promote my own dental health?
