Ban countries from buying land/corporations in America, no country should be profiting off of the US citzen /consumer

This would kill the car and tooling industry. Companies like Toyota are already forced to make pickup trucks exclusively in America through tarrifs. Tarrifs would work way better to solve the problems baning contries from buying land would.
In 2013 China paid $4.7 billion for Smithfield Foods. China has destroyed the local hog farmer, by dropping prices to a level unsustainable by generational farmers. instead of a country actually owning US land, Countries can hold land by a 20-year Lease. Never should any country own controlling interest in any industry.

Absolutely and kick out the ones that have already bought land
I would say something more along the lines of look into land bought by foreign entities and if its land that is near military bases land that is being used to harvest resources and land being used for illegal activities and so many others come to mind and buy that land back at price they paid for it or at current market price if its lower and then the land can be protected and sold back to farmers but with Trumps Tarriff plan he is wanting investment into the united states and if theyre coming over to build factories that are federally regulated and abide by the laws of our land and are not protected by their government on american soil than we want their investment in building factories in urban america and bringing jobs and money to the american economy I think what has been bought needs investigated and what has become of it and then a rule book that needs to be signed of what they agree to going forward to be able to create wealth for our people and our country

Anyone who is not an American citizen should not be allowed to own American land. If countries want to have a companies here in the USA then let them rent land to build but they should not own it.

I’m significantly concerned that China might be buying farmland so they can factually say their product is made or grown in America.
They know people have caught on to things like the animal by products in pet food that were killing or injuring people’s pets were sourced in China. Consumers rightfully started prioritizing made in America… but if China interests own the land here in America, we don’t have even that little safety net.
It’s so unsafe to allow other countries to be involved in making our food or medications, etc. I believe we’re even blending foreign source materials in with American materials and selling it to people with no way for the public to know what’s in there. And this is going on after China declared unconventional warfare on the US years ago. Oh no problem, here make our food and drugs for us. Hold our jugular while you’re at it. (And no, it’s not because they’re Chinese, it’s because they’ve declared war on us through irregular means. I’d say the same if they were Swedish.)
People who admit to meaning you harm don’t get trusted with anything sensitive like feeding your populace or making their medicines.
(There are SO many layers of treason going on in the world.)
