Anyone who is a citizen of any nation other than the United States of America should be barred from holding any government office, at all levels.

My son, a child of a Navy sailor, is a dual citizen because he was born abroad while that sailor was stationed in a foreign country. Other than his birth and the two years that followed he has never been in that country. From 2 years old and up, he’s been in the USA because his dad got new orders to Mississippi.
Should he be deported? The child of a military vet who has lived here most his life? Because he has dual citizenship. He doesn’t use it. And doesn’t care about the country he was born in.
There are many chikdten whuse parents come from different countries.

there’s no reason for a child of an US american parent, and a parent from somewhere elre, to favour the US heritage over the other country.
especially as many other countries have a much richer and older cultural heritage.

But I’ve got quite a lot of friends with parents from different countries, so it is normal that they have both passports.

Why should an individual holding dual citizenship with Mexico have the privilege to reside here and access welfare funded by American taxpayers? Similarly, why should a U.S. citizen with allegiance to Israel (Zionism) wield influence over American policy, sending our soldiers to risk their lives in support of the genocidal and illegitimate regime of Israel—including its extension into Ukraine—while our own country gets invaded by the pestilence masses from the Global South? as long as they respect the place where they choose to live - as citizens or as immigrants - I don’t see a problem.
taking away the possibility of dual citizenship will only make them hate the country that demands that they reject half of their heritage.
