Why not pull 2 male/2 female teachers from every state and put them in a room together to discuss what works and what doesn’t? Sit down with them and have a discussion! Pull random names of teachers from each state to keep it fair. Actually, ask the opinion of teachers and what they think works best for kids and what doesn’t. Instead of the school board dictating every single lesson plan, give teachers control of the classroom again with a broad guideline of what the school year should cover.
Life skills, taxes, financial guidance, machine shop, resume/job resources, college resources and home economics should all be brought back to give kids an actual skill to take out into the real world and to encourage desire in skilled labor positions. Let’s give kids purpose again.
