Would be wonderful to add to the the antidiscrimination laws. Since they will not be abolished, and have a purpose, make them to include political party and thought. During the last few years, work has been increasingly uncomfortable. I live in a blue state…that used to be purple. Democrats feel free to control everything and put it in the workplace and make it obvious that if you do not agree with their viewpoint, you need to stay quiet. It should also be ILLEGAL for any place of business to force employees to attend politically fueled “seminars” in order to try to force their workforce to a specific political stance. My work is challenging enough. Add to it the anxiety of the political climate and feeling like you are going into hostile territory simply due to your own views and values makes it awful.
