Annual Health checkups to include DHEA and Vit D3 blood levels

In my 2015 immunosenescence paradigm of macrophages (Discovery Medicine Dec 2015) I proposed that alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) activity caused immunosenescence of macrophages that causes age and stress associated chronic diseases (cancers, severe infections, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies, autoimmunity etc… I also showed that dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which declines with age and stress naturally binds and inactivates AFP. Hospital and general blood labs do not test for DHEA but DHEA-S which is irrelevant to health as it is inactive. With sickness, the DHEA/cortisol ratio declines (not the DHEAS-S/cortisol ratio). To assess health we need to assess both DHEA and Vitamin D3 and top it up as needed on a regular basis. To top up DHEA levels one should not use DHEA supplements but 7-keto-DHEA which cannot be converted to the hormones especially testosterone in women. Quality controlled 7-keto-DHEA with certificates of purity and concentration should be made available over the counter at reasonable prices. These two entities together is expected to prevent the onset of severe disease and thus, save health care and hospital dollars especially during pandemics. This assessment should be provided free for one assessment per year.

Good comment and IMO should be verified and considered in order to improve health & lower insurance/care expenses.
