Animal Welfare Classes in all Schools

The animal homelessness problem, especially in the Southern States in insurmountable. If children are taught the importance of spaying and neutering their pets we can win this battle. They also need to be taught proper care and housing. It is heart breaking to see a dog tied to a chain in the yard, and while in my county we fought for better living conditions for tethered animals, it starts with education which will cause a lasting effect for generations to come.

Animals are just as important and alive as human beings and in most cases are a very big important member in families from children to the elderly. They teach us to love unconditionally and they stay by our side when we need strength and company and never give up on us. They are our best friends through thick and thin and deserve to be treated with respect and love. Kids love animals and their friendships create healthy minds and bring joy to their lives. We need our pets even those in the wild. Life in all forms was created for a purpose and no one has the right to destroy any of them.
