The cruel abuse and neglect of animals should be felony that should carry a sentence of no less than 25 years. This could be a significant deterrent to the future abuse of poor defenseless animal of all types.

Sorry, I don’t believe this is a high priority. 25 years is way too steep of sentence. that would be the same penalty as 1st degree murder

President Trump signed the preventing animal cruelty and torture act (PACT) into law in 2019, the penalty is a fine or up to 7 years in jail or both. However this law needs to be STRICTLY enforced, especially in Alabama that has let off a few offenders recently! All abused animals deserve justice and all abusers deserve jail time! We demand justice for Jax, Duke and Jasra!

Texas is HORRENDOUS with the shelters and dogs on the streets that are beaten starved and abused. Something seriously needs to be done

1000% AGREE!! Murder and torture should not be any different for a human species as an animal species… BUT IT MUST BE ENFORCED!! And, to euthanize these poor little babies just because there’s not-enough-room-at-the-inn is a DISGRACE to humanitarians… PLEASE PLEASE help us help these poor defensless, sentient beings… they have families, just as we do, they love, they fear; they are God’s creatures and do NOT deserve how we treat them.
