Americans to have a Vote in Financial Aid sent to Other Countries

Americans are financially overburdened with the cost of living, income tax, property taxes, sales tax and every other tax that comes their way. Many Americans can barely survive paycheck to paycheck. The amount of homelessness is astounding and quite frankly wrong. Yet the US keeps sending money to Ukraine and many other countries, countries that many Americans don’t even know exist. The American People should have a say in what money (if any) should go to foreign countries and should have the right to redirect those funds to our own Americans that are in need (for example: recent hurricane victims who lost everything in North Carolina, GA, FL). Whenever government wants to send money to another country, the American People should be able to: 1) get a line by line accounting of where the funds are going to and for what purpose, 2) take a vote on it much like we do for elections. If the majority agrees to send money then the government sends it. If the majority disagree on sending the money then nothing gets sent and 3) full transparency of these funds should be given so that there is no way any of the monies sent are going lining the personal pockets of any government official or corporate entities.
