American heroes tax exemption

I think it would be great if American heroes (firefighters, police officers, teachers, and soldiers) would not have to pay federal taxes. Full disclosure, I am a teacher, I’m not doing this as a self-service but rather seeing that there is not much incentive to be a teacher and the best minds are leaving the business in order to pursue greater income opportunities. I understand if there’s not much room in the budget but perhaps a way to incentivize public servants is to take less from them.
