American Healthcare Cannot be for profit or traded on the Stock Market

In light of the recent death of the CEO of United Health Care and the overwhelming response by American citizens- it is clear that health insurance companies have ceased to be in the business of insuring their customers, and instead have become money making machines for their shareholders. As Americans we should be ashamed that we have allowed sick citizens to suffer without care and necessary treatment to enrich a small group of shareholders. It is clear that the major health insurers in this country are running a scam which is destroying the lives of most Americans who simply want to know that the premiums they pay each month will actually INSURE them when they need care. This must stop. So if we cannot established a national health coverage system like every other first world country - then we must minimally create a system where all health insurance companies are not for profit. Where there is zero incentive for corruption, and where the money paid into those systems is actually being utilized to keep people alive and healthy. No CEO or any other executive should be earning millions to lead the scamming of American citizens who have entrusted them with their health. No health insurance should be a publicly traded company. You want to change the health of the American people? Start with removing the fear of not being able to get or afford care when you need it. The trickle down effect of the criminal behavior of the health insurance companies has been what has caused the hospitals to consolidate into a few massive companies who are also ripping off the American people- colluding with the pharmacy companies to continue increasing the prices of drugs necessary for health. No more for profit health in the US-
