  • Create a FLAT payroll tax of 5% for all American citizens. 5% of everyone’s wages is fair for the government to have.
  • If you make $40,000 a year, you pay $2,000.
  • If you make $38,000,000 a year, you pay $1,900,000.
    Everyone pays their 5% no matter what they do. Overtime hours non-taxable.

I came here to say the same thing. This practice would end income tax returns.

I also think migrants should pay a larger tax for a period of time to offset citizen tax. Furthermore, the business incentives for migrants needs to stop. Those incentives should be for Americans.

It would, IRS could be cut to 10% staff and save money with salaries. & there wouldn’t be amending any taxes unless an employer over paid you or underpaid you.

They should. And all benefits should be seized. They can’t illegal come here and expect money and housing. That’s why I everyone is coming here because we treat them softly and they get money for free. Who wouldn’t come here?

The best way to do this, IMO is to eliminate the income tax but institute income tax via purchases. I would say that doing it at mils of penny’s, wouldnt effect anyone very much, anyone who buys anything is paying in, and the gov would have their operating money. If we have approx 10b in retail sales per year, divided by approx 350mil US Citizens (just to make it easy) approx 35k in purchases per year (just roughly) would be around 3k average per year. If someone with more money spends more or buys higher cost goods, they pay more. Everyone is paying at their level
