Many People aren’t aware that Ambulance services are closing their doors at alarming rates. What happens when you call 911 and there’s not an ambulance for you? Medicare Medicaid rates disperse Minimal reimbursements, and those are the majority of our patients… Insurance companies like UnitedHealthcare are making it harder and harder for us to get the money that we charge them and it ends up being the patients responsibility, which is sad because the patients pay a lot for their policies. We need to find a way to keep these doors open pay our paramedics what they deserve to be paid for saving peoples lives. Fire and police are funded while Ambulance services are not this needs to be changed
