Alternative therapies to be covered by insurance

Alternative therapies need to be covered or reimbursable by insurance fully. Peptides, biofeedback, brain tapping, vision therapy, vitamin therapy. Etc

We paid $5,000 out of pocket for my son’s brain scans through Amen clinics. This was not reimbursable from insurance. However the information we gained absolutely saves the insurance companies significant cost. We received the true root of his issues for mood disorder/adhd and no longer needed to guess which medications he should be on.

We still fight the battle of what the doctor would like him on vs what the insurance will approve despite 10 failed medication and a brain scan for evidence. In total we spent $30k in one year to provide services to improve his life and excel academically. With these in place, he achieved a 3.4gpa because he had non reoccurring therapies. These are not therapies he needs to life but to use as a pivot point. These therapies would also reduce the amount of funds spent In Health care and the education system. How many students do we pay for title one reading issues when 6 months of vision therapy would solve the problem permanently?!

These alternatives increase quality of life without heavy drug loads and is healthier for people as a whole.

Love the Amen Clinic Spect Scan idea for insurance approval. Dr. Amen always said most folks that treat mental issues like psychiatry fail to study the organ they reportedly treat. If you are only treating symptoms through trial and error with drugs, drugs that may have a positive effect on the one hand, but negative aspects on the other, what kind of science is that? “Tweaking and peeking” dosage after the fact based on manifestations without looking at the organ is kind of like divination, or using the “force.”

5k for a scan is just under the cost of a Regenexx stem cell procedure for joints in some places. Crazy! Most folks cant take that financial hit. The system doesn’t seem to be designed to make folks better, if that were the case knee replacement doctors would be out of business.

You can add the following to your alternative therapies for insurance coverage: Joint and soft tissue - Stem cell, PRP, GCMAF, Astaxanthin, Ozone Therapy, Hyperbarics, Stemregen. Parasitic/Anti cancer drugs - like ivermectine & fenbendazole, B17, etc. Other: Red Light Therapy, etc.

Health alternatives has already been voted on in many other threads. Please look to first see if what is important to you is already out there instead of making new voting threads. This is a subject I agree with, but research before creating yet another one about alternative health.

Insurance will never reimburse these in the amount that would cover them. Citizens need to understand that they should save money to pay for their healthcare. For profit insurance companies are not for healthcare. They are for investors. Thus the solution is to promote Health Savings Accounts and citizens to restructure their behavior toward healthcare. Instead of the employer taking your money to give to insurance you need to put it in a savings account so you have the freedom to spend it where you want.

Thank you! This also shows me who you are. My feelings aren’t hurt at all. Bye Felicia!

Yes, we definitely need reform! Insurance is total crap and all for profit, my opinion is that all healthcare should not be for profit. When there is no profit to be made then maybe they will actually focus on getting solutions to heal people. I understand people have to be paid for their jobs, but we don’t need these big companies “practicing medicine” just to keep their bottom line where they want and soaring profits year after year. I really hope this site helps the incoming administration in addressing so many issues everyday Americans desperately need change to come.
