Mr. President Donald J Trump,
please allow Veteran Spouses to Remarry after they have been widowed or is a widower. Some spouses have been caregivers without pay and some with minimum pay. Some have their own PTSD from dealing with a Veteran from war. Their lives have been destroyed and then they try to move on and remarry and the United States Government wants to take their only means of income if they remarry. In my opinion this is a violation of freedom of religion. It’s most certainly a moral violation to thousands of spouses that have gave their lives to Veterans. Let us not forget Veterans, but let us not forget the ones they come home to. Please consider this, the devil wants many unmarried in the eyes of God and in bondage to the policies of government. Please allow millions to remarry and perhaps save souls Mr. President Trump. There are many who just simply can’t afford to lose their income. Marriage is good, please please, Mr. President Trump please remove the stumbling block stopping marriage. Mr. President Trump, you being married and wise knowing marriage is good, how much more wisdom and goodness is there in allowing the poor to remarry.

a veteran (and the veteran’s family) is just that and has to be valued and cherished all the time as the head of the family made the ultimate sacrifice for his/hers country.
what you say here, is more like collecting benefits from every marriage you’d been though … doesn’t seem right nor fair

Agreed, these military spouses, should be able to keep receiving the benefits that there military spouses got for there service, it’s ridiculous that, they would lose the benefits, just because they want to get married, the government owe the military spouses because it’s the only thing the government does help members of the military and spouses, I am a Veteran and believe in this strongly pass this.
Then in that case make it a one time deal, if the military spouses get married then they can’t claim on there present spouse, simple answer.
