There are many myths that have been proven to be false about having chickens and small livestock in towns. With the uncertainty of food production and decisions of what should and shouldn’t be injected into our food supply. It has pushed people to start taking steps to providing food from their own backyard. More than ever we need to create a reliable sustainable future for generations to come. However outdated and unjust town ordinances have stopped people from living in pursuit of their happiness. It is our God given right to provide for ourselves, families and communities. No laws should conflict with our God Given Rights. May we change these city ordinance and let the people choose how they see fit to provide food and young generations how to be sustainable. Chickens and small livestock not only provide food, but they can be therapeutic for individuals just like a therapy dogs. They teach children responsibility and life skills that will help shape them into young responsible adults.
