Allow Labor Induction to be a topic along with abortion

If someone is considering abortion after 22 weeks, is there ever a discussion about inducing labor? No.
If they decide abortion, that’s their choice however we should have alternative options like inducing labor early if someone is having issues with pregnancy.

Agree. I also think we should ban the use of feticide against babies determined to be viable. That’s one of the pro-life concessions I put in my comprehensive policy package designed to address the top concerns people have about abortion and pro-life laws. Would you please consider it?

FYI - the very first paragraph summarizes the whole idea, and the actual content of my proposal comes after a few disclaimer paragraphs/my MAHA letter.
RIGHT TO MATERNAL/FETAL HEALTHCARE & EDUCATION to stabilize the abortion issue

Sorry, I’m pro-choice, I don’t believe I have the right to make decisions for anyone but me and my body. My suggestion is about the education and options that happen beforehand, it’s not black and white and needs to have more support and assistance so that women can make the best decision for their body.

Actually, banning the use of feticide has nothing to with your body. You would still be able to terminate your pregnancy at any gestational time period. My idea would just say that if that baby is determined to be viable, you cannot dismember the child, inject the fatal digoxin shot or any sort of unnecessary deadly force against the child. You can just deliver the viable child without purposely killing him/her in the process.

Any fetus could possibly survive after 22 weeks however that doesn’t mean they will have the quality of life. Also, you have to inject feticide into the body, so yes, it does have to do with your body.

I see where you are coming from with the viability perspective however I just don’t see “freedom” the same as you. To me, it’s the women’s choice, the women’s body and the women’s life. I’m not saying I would terminate my pregnancy however I’m in no position to judge or tell someone else that they have to live my way of life. Instead, include inducing labor as a topic of conversation and maybe it will help women choose the best path for them.

Anyways, good luck with your policy package though! I appreciate your enthusiasm towards your cause
