We need to ensure that non pre-packaged and pre-packaged food as well as restaurants are required to include the top 14 allergens. There should also be an allergen safety training/certification program for all food service employees.
The UK has been the only place we feel safe traveling with our children (whom have dairy allergies). My children are always given an allergy menu when we dine out which relieves a lot of our stress. Here is a link with the UK policies.
