Assistance in affordable maternity and prenatal care. Insurance including medicaid, should cover or aide in the cost. No restrictions on type of birth either. If a mother wants to choose a home or water birth, this should be covered by the insurance and/or Medicaid. No medical loopholes to jump through in order for aide to be given, such as, but not limited to: unnecessary procedures, declining vaccines, the cascade of interventions, etc.
A mother has the freedom and choice to accept or decline: treatments/testing/vaccines/procedures, etc. without the enforcement of the threat of losing insurance/medicaid.
Assistance should be affordable or free depending on the case of the mother, income, family size, etc. no mom should ever feel they will lose their care for not abiding by what a doctor states or what a doctor gains.
