Admins, We Need a New Category for "Salute to America 250"

As a schoolgirl during the Bicentennial, I feel many of the celebrations I experienced then should be replicated for today’s children for the Semiquincentennial. Since the America250.org site has no forum for suggestions, we need one at PFTP.

Besides the Bicentennial programs at school, I enjoyed the 1975-1976 “Bicentennial Minute” each night on TV, detailing a Revolutionary War event “two hundred years ago today.” The America250 group, or some patriotic group, should sponsor a similar educational program starting 2025, in collaboration with the major conservative networks such as RAV, OAN, RSBN, and even on X. Where today’s popular MAGA personalities would have a turn to present a “Semiquincentennial Minute” episode. These episodes could air on all the conservative networks, not limited to one network as was the case during the Bicentennial.

I learned U.S. history through schoolbooks and the “Bicentennial Minute” episodes. Later, as an adult genealogist, I discovered my numerous Revolutionary War ancestors whose pension applications detailed the battles. For me, the Semiquincentennial experience will be much more meaningful than my experience during the Bicentennial, as great as that was.
