The mental illness system is completely broken. “Mental illness” is a blanketed term that’s way overused to make big pharmacies money. They get people hooked on 
and then leave them without proper treatment and no way for loved ones to intervene. They need to stop handing out scripts like candy and teach better coping skills. And in instances where institutionalization is needed they should take into account the opinions of those who know the patient best & give the family more say in their care instead of spitting patients out way too early due to insurance reasons; leaving loved ones helpless to care for them and burdening society.

What is the solution that you’d most like to see?
All those LMHC and Psycholgists should do their JOBS. Stop throwing chemicals at problems and begin creating healthy solutions. Cohesive community, family values, healthy activities should all be encouraged
