Abortion as a social program

We already have a law for “taking a human life” (murder) There is no law that can satisfy the emotional and social needs of abortion. No matter what state, city, or community you live in, the affect of abortion is dramatically different between those involved in the decision. It is a decision that ranges from “no big deal” to a “lifetime trauma” and the individuals involved are not getting the attention they deserve. I believe that if we treat abortion at the individual level everyone involved will feel they get the attention they deserve. The affects of an abortion decision can last way beyond the law or the choice and deserves more attention than it is getting.

If we have a law for taking a life based on when life begins and ends we need to focus more on the medical and psychological aspect of abortion, this takes the drama out of the generalization of abortion based on where a person lives. This provides more jobs and care for our population.
