If a state wants to have a city that provides sanctuary for illegals, what if we take it literally and say fine, but they must remain in that city and if they step out of the city or into another state, they’ll be deported? Let the far left cities get inundated with illegals to the point that the people there are so affected and the infrastructure (healthcare, schools, roads, housing, jails, police, fire, etc.) so taxed that they may change their minds and start voting Republican. Just spitballin.
Sanctuary cities, no! We still pay for them with our tax money, regardless of where the sanctuary city is. Get these people out of our country and take care of our own!

Any state that refuses to comply with the elimination of sanctuary cities & states will loose ALL federal funding. Length of loss penalty to be determined by the President.

Nope, let them exist. All illegal aliens need to go there and commit their crimes there, it will teach those cities the lessons of claiming to be a sanctuary city. The whole sanctuary idea will come to a quick end. No federal add to those cities.

You are right. Enforce the law. Any city, county, state or federal official that allows a Sanctuary city or fight for the rights of illegal aliens (they do not have constitutional rights). will be tried for Aiding and Abetting in the facility of a crime, as well as obstruction.

Whoa wait! What about the law abiding citizens of that city or state. It should be federal law that anyone, including lawmakers, governors and mayors who gives sanctuary to illegals should be arrested. No governor or mayor should be allowed to violate federal Immigration laws.
And treason if aiding enemies of the US citizens.
No, how exactly are you going to provide resources for criminals to remain in a city - this forum needs to be serious about solutions. Breaking Federal immigration laws for national security are to be addressed as sedition or if acted upon aiding and abetting enemies of the US = treason.
In 2017 Portland, Oregon voted to become a sanctuary city. But for some reason, cities all over Oregon started applying the sanctuary status to all cities, citing the whole state was a Sanctuary City. The 1987 Oregon State Legislature passed HB 2314 which prohibited the use of state and local enforcement resources to detect or apprehend persons whose only violation was being in the country without documentation… Yet woke Governor Brown and others applied that to any illegal, who broke or had broken any law.
