Abolish ALL forms of lobbying! Lobbying is a euphemism for Bribery and Corruption and has led to terrible laws and policies for the American people. Lobbyists come in with deep pockets to court our congress, to lavish them with gifts, trips, wining and dining, prostitutes, etc. until there is not a chance the congress person will turn the lobbyists down.
Congressman can even become lobbyists after they have been retired from Congress for five years. Think about this - not only do they know from firsthand experience how lobbyists get the results they are after, they also know the Congressmen who are still there - they know each ones work ethic, their voting history, They know the gossip and rumors, the scuttlebutt on each one.
