Abolish AIPAC

AIPAC and its role in government:

The question of whether the Government should abolish AIPAC is a contentious one, sparking intense discussions on the balance of power, influence, and transparency in politics. Advocates for abolishing AIPAC argue that the organization’s significant financial and lobbying influence can potentially undermine the democratic process and distort foreign policy decisions. On the other hand, supporters of AIPAC emphasize its role in advocating for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and representing the interests of the American Jewish community.

As we navigate this complex issue, it’s crucial to assess the potential implications of abolishing AIPAC on political discourse, diplomatic relations, and the democratic principles that govern our society. Engaging in constructive dialogue and thoughtful analysis can help us better understand the nuances of the situation and explore alternative approaches to address concerns about undue influence and transparency in government decision-making.

Let’s continue to exchange perspectives and insights on the role of advocacy organizations like AIPAC in shaping government policies and priorities. Together, we can work towards a more inclusive, transparent, and accountable political system that reflects the values and voices of all citizens. #AIPAC #PoliticalInfluence #Democracy

I hope this post sparks meaningful conversations and encourages critical thinking on the topic of AIPAC and its impact on governance.

I could not agree more. As a Christian, I have always had unwavering support for Israel without a second thought as we are taught that they are God’s people. The reaction to the suggestion of not lending them limitless support is often met with vitriolic resistance and claims of anti-semitism within circles of my Christian friends (I am not anti-semitic). I can only describe the support people have for Israel as visceral when speaking to many patriots, but it’s always struck me as a little odd that a small country that shouldn’t really have that much bearing on our day-to-day reality evokes such a response, and this led me to believe I was being propagandized.

The more I researched, it appears that few people in our government want to question Israel. They have a hand in almost everything our government does, they control our largest equity firms, lobby our three-letter agencies, and their intelligence meddles in our affairs while each congressman and woman has an AIPAC handler and the organization is not registered as a foreign agent due to technicalities . The only person who seems to have called this out is Thomas Massie (see link).

The Trump administration seems like a godsend to many of us - a strong military, re-visiting the Abraham accords etc, but I just don’t want us to be on Israel’s leash. America First means America choosing how to govern, spending our tax dollars at home to support our own people and promoting peace around the globe.

It’s exceptionally contentious because of the circumstances with the war, October 7th, Hamas etc. However, I just feel there’s a better way forward for Israel and Palestine and America should be facilitating that peace rather than just endlessly funding Israel and taking instructions from them.

Clearly I’m not an expert on this, but my gut feeling is that we need to distance ourselves a little. Just my 2 cents, and I’ll get a lot of crap for this post I’m sure.

Defund Israel and ABOLISH AIPAC immediately. Stop allowing Netayahu to manipulate us into going into forever wars with Israel’s enemies.

Establish a Palestinian state. And no body who serves in office in the UNITED States can be a dual citizen or have served in the Israeli military.

I don’t think this AIPAC is needed, anything to do with lobbyist, I think is bad, they can sway the vote on bills for there good even if it’s not in the interest of the American people, why is it, us the American people are always last, as other companies as well big companies get first choice on money being allocated on these bills, since when did the United States become the world bank and we give money away to everyone but the American people. Abolish it now.
