My main policy is in the health category. When sorted by votes, it’s in 20th place for the HEALTH category. However, there are a TON of policies that are incorrectly placed in the Health category. To make matters worse, they are often duplicates. As a result, it severely limits the visibility of my proposal and makes it even harder for detailed contributions/original ideas like mine to compete with other policies that have more name recognition and cover more black-and-white issues. While many of these improperly categorized policies would indirectly impact health, we already have the more precise, separate category designated for them. For example, many of these policies belong in either Food, Economy, Energy or Infrastructure.
These two screenshots show some examples HIGHLIGHTED. I have flagged these posts but so far, nothing has been done. I have almost 600 votes, but there are still SIX of these improperly placed policies above me, and plenty more (mostly duplicates) below me that can easily sneak up. If those six misplaced policies were moved to the correct category, then my policy would be in 14th place for all Health policies would be significantly more visible to users. As it stands now, most users are not going to casually scroll down far enough to see mine that often.
Another thing that would help is if the moderators would please respond to the merge proposals. That would clean up a bunch of the duplicates taking up space in Health right off the bat.
I have invested so much time in your website and my policy. Please, please can you address/fix the concerns about: duplicates/merge requests; posts needing to be moved to the right category and posts improperly tagged as “detailed contributions”.
THE FOLLOWING SCREENSHOTS ARE ALL FROM THE HEALTH CATEGORY. All highlighted policies are the ones that should go to either Food, Infrastructure, Economy, Energy or Other. Just imagine how much more effective and neater this website (and especially the Health category) would be if these issues were cleaned up!
These kinds of proposals and duplicates continue on down after that.
