The founders wrote into the Constitution a method for addressing the needs cited here, in a much safer path than a dangerous and illegal Constitutional Convention to re-write the existing Constitution. Read Mark Levin’s book The Liberty Amendments for suggested amendments and arguments for the Article V convention, including the built-in safeguards ensured by the Founders’ language and reinforced by the Convention of States team. Congress will never shrink the federal government; an Article V convention is the only path forward.

government jobs should be volunteer. no need to travel to DC except for quarterly get togethers. administrative help can be done from home. DC should be a place to house monuments, museums and our sacred documents-a tourist place . D.C should not be the city in which our national treasures should be housed. The citizenry of the USA should not be compelled to support D>C. municipality, or be held hostage to its crime, litter, hate speech parades and gatherings.
In addition, COS must start a website for all taxpayers dividing a dollar into 100 pennies-beside which a government program is written. Each taxpayer with their individual voter ID number will check off which programs they wish to support. These penny votes will be relayed to Congress and President, who will follow the will of the people and fund onl those the voters allow.
Few in Congress follow their constituents requests and few constituents call their legislator as it is a cumbersome system,’
A Hundred Cents website would be easier.
Next: Voting is not a right anymore! It is a privilege. No citizen can vote unless he passes the same test a legal immigrant needs to take!

This is a Just a thought. Why don’t we try upholding the current Constitution and see how that works out before we talk about altering it? Second point is the fear of a runaway convention.
The original Constitution is designed to rein in government. Upholding the Constitution is the solution.

personal opinion is the current political climate would be extremely dangerous to start a con con. everything is on the chopping block and theres just way too much corruption and brainwashed masses to risk 1a and 2a getting deleted in the process. it’s just as hard to close it as it is to open it
