6 Year Term Limits for Congress

Elected officials of Congress should have term limits. They will have a max of two congressional terms, each term would be six years. Creating this new term limit would allow fresh new minds to come into government and still have some changeover with longer tenured individuals, this would also eliminate career politicians. With a six year term, members of Congress would be able to serve for one complete presidential term and either half of their second term or half of the next elected president’s term.
