51st State

Make Canada the 51st U.S. State! Split the country horizontally and allow more conservative minded individuals to live on the southern half.

In a hypothetical situation where Canada really were annexed by the US, I’d really rather not see it incorporated as a single giant state.

At minimum each provence should be its own state.

Alberta would be a great place to start I think.

Yes, let’s invite the most pro-USA Canadians first and make them a deal!

As British Colombian who has spent the last 4 years protesting the UN/WEF coup here in Canada, I can say there are a lot of people who understand that the US constitution is the only thing standing in the way of total world dominance by truly evil globalist forces.

Many here, like myself, would like to see each province hold a referendum on VOLUNTARILY joining “The Union”.

We have already seen how weak our “Charter of Rights” really is. We have seen unidentified troops weild automatic weapons against peaceful protesters (the truckers) and it appears now they were foreign UN troops. (This act of treason/war needs to be seriously investigated,)

Canada has been taken over by foreign agents. We have treasonous members of parliament, the Chinese Communist Party dictates policy, and our system is so broken a Kallistani terrorist is holding the nation hostage by denying the vote of no confidence the people of Canada so clearly want.

Perhaps a more palatable solution for those who still celebrate the battle of 1812 would be for Canada to remain sovereign, but adopt the US constitution.

What if instead of Canada becoming a state since it is a mighty large area why nit just make it a US Territory like Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, and a few other countries are?

@Bamasunshine good thought! The Commonwealth of Canada, a territory of the United States.

Socialized medicine in Canada. It takes months to get into doctor.
Can we handle the extra burden?
You think Trudeau would buy into this?

Thank you. I wasn’t sure when I threw that one out there if it would make sense to anyone except me. I have lots of thoughts I think are good but don’t always know how to explain them logically so they make sense. I even confuse my husband regularly.

Well, half of my ideas are terrible but i don’t know which half.

I know you feel but put your thoughts down any way, the rest of us will help make it all make sense, at least that’s what I am finding out, everyone puts there ideas in and then it turns out making sense.

Yep yep sounds familiar

We can be like one giant think tank that actually thinks logically instead of whatever those have been doing around DC lately. Teamwork makes the dream work.

If Canada wanted integration into the US it would be up to Canadians, so it’s really odd this is posted on a US political forum.

The US only has a rightful say in whether Canada joins the Union, after a request from Canadians. Plus, like others said each province would need integrated as State rather than the entirety of the Nation into one.

Trump was making a quip about the Canadian dependency on the US consumerist market, and how if Canadian market were to crash because of his intended production policy changes, than Canada should integrate. Though he did say in the past he was in support of the completion of US manifest destiny, per his attemps at land purchase from Denmark.

Message to Canadians:

Look at US federal legislature struction in depth, and decide if you truely want to be a part of it, or if you would rather bring about the creation of your own market and government structure-granted the current one fails or is found unfavorable. Giving up sovereignty is a big decision.

Message to US Citizens:

Imperialism and expansionism of any kind should be viewed as a direct form of Tyranny. The expansion of the US should be initiated by others, and approved by the People of the US. Forming a mentality of entititled espansion and establishment of claims is a deadly threat to Justice and Liberty.

It would be a great benefit for both countries to become one and would save a lot of money for both countries.
