government owns it so should I, minus nukes; all gun laws infringement except for must be 18+ to own guns; legalize bump stocks; national conceal and carry/open carry law authorized nationwide; national stand your ground law; (national constitutional carry law) or (national reciprocity (every state must recognize other CCW licenses)); repeal Hughes amendment to 1986 FOPA (abolished manufacture of machine guns); teach gun safety in schools

Proposed 2nd Amendment Defense Act

I) With the enactment of this bill Congress and POTUS shall make no law infringing on a person lawful conduct regarding the 2nd amendment.

II) Additionally through enactment this bill will make all prior gun laws found to violate the 2nd Amendment in anyway, dating back to its enactment in 1791, to be considered null and void and stricken from the law books.

III) This Bill will enshrine a persons rights to keep and bear arms to actually be defended stronger under the 2nd Amendment and make it harder for Congress or Presidential Agencies to enact unconstitutional laws by striking all gun control laws that don’t follow text, history, or tradition from 1791
IV) only persons barred from possession of fire arms to be persons under age 18 and those currently on criminal parol or deemed mentally unstable by licensed physicians

while i fully agree with this its a pretty tall order id be happy with simply repealing the nfa as a start and going from there

Agreed…but we need more specificity. For example, these 2 things should happen ASAP: 1) the ATF should be abolished and all rules/regs promulgated by them should be declared null & void, effective immediately; and 2) the NFA should be abolished - we should not be paying any additional taxes on firearm or accessory purchases (i.e. suppressors), and we should not be waiting years to get them!

We should be able to carry and Concealed weapon carry in any state. And people with Misdemeanor DV records. Not felonies should not have their gun rights taken away ever. And if they were taken they should have their right automatically reinstated in every state because having our gun rights taken away is against the 2nd Ammendment and the Constitution.

i forgot to mention CCW reciprocity but totally agree
