I’m a 65 year old grandmother retired on SS disability. I have Lupus and other autoimmune illnesses that prompt me to keep up with legislation regarding health care.
I believe adults should take responsibility for stability in their lives. I do not support average citizens being supported and cared for by the government unless unable to care for themselves. I guess I’m “old school” we do our best to support and care for ourselves and participate in government tax programs to provide a minimum backup support if the need is appropriate. I would rather help someone who is struggling than support someone who doesn’t try and feels entitled to a government paycheck that they never paid into simply for being alive - making them parasites on the working class.
