Student teacher ratio

Lower the student to teacher ratio in public education.
-Higher test scores
-less overcrowding

  • less fights
    -increase student teacher relationships
    -faster feedback on graded assignments
    -less unnoticed bullying
    -lower teacher turnover rate

Yes! We moved from one school to another school for the teacher student ratio. It is slowly going back up. The actual teaching that the teacher was able to do was huge. It helped our kids so much. Limits definitely need to be put in place. My suggestion (I’m not a teacher, just a parent) would be 1:15 for elementary age students, pre-k thru 5th grade.

I teach high school and have 177 students in 6 classes

As a Teacher I would take a pay cut to have smaller class size

For daycare teachers also. The ratios are unrealistic you can not provide proper care for each child with the current ratios.
