Citizens in Agricultural areas should be notified and asked to vote on the build of BESS facilities on AGRICULTURAL LAND. These facilities are buying land all over Texas in non restricted areas for a reason. We do not have the regulations in place to protect our home or generational lands. We should have a way to veto these if they are not wanted near us. They are a safety hazard and are not regulated. This needs to be changed and addressed as well.
