Your guideliness of creative resourcing to earn your own income are perfect reasons, that we should not pay parents to stay at home. This would end up being a diaster to just figure out how to even justify doing it. We dont need children brought into families who just want the money and won’t take care of the children.
That’s true, this concept could be accomplished by cutting taxes and keeping our economy strong 
Then affording to have one parent stay home wouldn’t be as much of an issue.
