Solar panels on roofs not on farmland

I think they talking about commercial. Farms should be able to put enough solar to run the needs of the farm. The buyout and use of large farms for commercial solar use should be banned. Solar can be installed on parking structures, along highway medians, on large commercial buildings and other appropriate areas. Taking farm and forest land is irresponsible and takes away the trees and grass that help mitigate our climate issues. I live in a farming community and this is an ongoing battle as farmers sell out to solar. We need to secure our ability to produce food in this country. Put solar where it makes sense.

Agree. It should be banned in every State.

I came looking for this one! I come from a ranching and farming community in northeast Texas, and the solar panels are taking over our land. Not only are they ATROCIOUS to look at instead of fields of corn, soybeans, sorghum, and cotton, but they are reducing land for migratory birds and other wildlife, taking up space for crops and grazing, sending massive amounts of heat radiation back into the air (harming local and migratory birds), and dumping toxic chemicals onto our once fertile and healthy soil. SOLAR PANELS DO NOT BELONG ON FARM LAND!!!

I agree with you even that i don’t have or like solar. But have you read that for example , in Italy the power providers are turning off solar power coming from homes because is too much power going back to the grid? and in Australia the power companies are charging back their customers who have solar because is also (same as in Italy) too much power going back to the grid… I suspect that it can happen in the USA as well as other countries
