Small Businesses are the cornerstone of the nation

The Small Business Act was created in 1953, and it mandated that 23% of all federal contracts needed to go to small businesses. However about 20% of that 23% goes to big businesses like Amazon, AT&T, etc. Many of those larger companies dont pay any taxes and ship work to overseas.

So small business are shafted. Small business owners are a huge part of our GDP. They need to be honored. If we simply enforce the SBA from 1953, so that actual small businesses get the federal contracts, that would boost the economy in a great way. The whole way we brought america back from world war too was by supporting small businesses. This has already been voted in by congress i n '53, we simply need to make all the transactions and the companies that get these contracts to be transparent, and make sure that small businesses with under 500 employees get these contracts.
