*Set expiration dates for single issue bills*

Everyone speaks about voting in term limits for Congress members which I am totally on board with. I suggest that every bill passed should be classified as a single issue bill that also has a term limit, as in a set expiration date for that policy. That enables Congress to review the bill; update, if necessary; renew; or let it expire & vote in new legislation that better meets the peoples’ needs. The upside of these expiration dates would force Congress to focus on their express purpose of representing the people & keeping outdated laws off the books, while also providing less time for the shenanigans our representatives seem to so often get themselves into.
